Ever wonder how much you should weigh for your height ? Well, here’s a chart for the “average” adult person. Now, we all know we have different body types. This is just a “guideline” to help you stay on track. I think as long as you’re healthy and YOU are happy with the way you look, the focus should not be on weight. But this is a helpful tool to have.

While food shopping this week, my husband was inspired and brought Strawberries, Bananas, Raspberries, Blueberries and frozen yogurt, so we can make smoothies. Smoothies are a good way to add other healthy options into our diet. So, I decided to take it a step further and brought some Whey Protein Powder to add, for muscle growth, performance and strength. After a workout, protein can help repair and rebuild lean muscle tissue. Tonight I made strawberry and banana smoothies for our children. My husband and I had Strawberry, Banana, Raspberry and Blueberry smoothies. They tasted great and I couldn’t overeat my food at dinner because they helped me feel satisfied, more quickly. You can’t beat that ! 🙂

Frozen Vanilla Yogurt
Fresh or frozen fruit, about 1/2 c. (peaches, strawberries, or raspberries, bananas, blueberries etc.)
1 scoop Whey Protein Powder (optional; for Sports Performance, Strength, Muscle Growth,appetite suppressant)
Drop ice cubes in food processor with metal blade. Process until pulverized. Add banana, yogurt and other fruit and process until smooth.
Pour into tall glasses and enjoy! Makes 2 (8 ounce) glasses or 3 small servings. You can substitute flavored yogurt, add honey or other flavorings such as almond with cherries, vanilla with peaches, etc.
